Works for the TREES benefit

Details  1 to 15   2002:   Fifteen large scale (36” x 36”) acrylic on canvas paintings depicting details of previous paintings.  The resulting effect is a highly simplified, stylized and stimulating experience of natural shapes and colours.  The genre slides away from landscape closer to abstract.  The fact that the pieces were created away from the distractions of real life bring them closer to true inspiration.

Landscapes in Acrylic, 2001-2002:  A series of over 40 paintings, large and small of area landscapes.  Brushstrokes are organic yet controlled.  Effects are subtle yet exaggerated.  Natural, organic motion is controlled by the quest for orderliness and delineation.
