INTERIOR DESIGN - Space Planning
Quick, Easy and Inexpensive help at the critical Conception Phase of your project.
I will:
- Sit down with you to work out your wish list of ultimate goals for the function of the space
- Take measurements and photos of the space
- Go away to work out solutions perhaps in varying degrees of complexity and estimated cost
- Come back and present conceptual ideas to you in the form of simple, to-scale floor plan sketches on graph paper
A Quick and Easy way to get your project moving in the right direction from Conception.
COST:
$100 per hour with first hour free. Often only a few hours of productive thought and Design (3 - 8hrs) are all that is needed to get your project off and running in the right direction.
BIDDING:
Now you have a clear idea in your mind and something on paper to show potential contractors bidding on the work.
PERMITS:
More in-depth drawings may be produced such as vertical views of walls showing windows, doors, cabinetry etc. or details such as specific trim and finishing requirements or structural sketches for the purposes of requesting permits.
ECONOMICAL:
This is an Easy and Economical alternative that falls somewhere between asking your handy friend for an opinion and securing the services of an Interior Design Firm.
DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY:
If you are planning to spend money on a modest renovation project doesn't it make sense to spend an extra $500 or $1,000 to feel confident you are getting and end product that you want?
The alternative is that you have a rough idea in your mind; this gets interpreted by your contractor as a rough idea of your rough idea. Time and money is wasted as misunderstandings are sorted out and you are so frustrated by the finished product that you just want to sell and move.
